If you tried to play Hitholl in the last 10 days, you must have noticed it was offline, both the website and the game server. But why? Simple: new internet provider (ISP). One which would change my IP on most days. And this is a bit of a pain after having my old IP for a whole year with the older provider, despite not having hired a static IP. However, that is not the reason it took me 10 days to bring Hitholl back online. I just didn't feel like going to the hassle of setting up a dynamic DNS. I tend to tell myself "I'm gonna do it later", and then never do it. That's the reason for the downtime being this long. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
